POST connect

Start connecting a Dropbox account (read-only). Returns authorize_url: give it to the owner as a clearly labelled "Connect Dropbox" link or button. They approve on Dropbox's own screen and the tokens are stored automatically — never ask for a password or secret. The link is single-use and expires after 30 minutes. Paid plans only.

GET connection-status

Whether Dropbox is connected for this project: account email and name, status, and what to do when re-authorization is needed.

No input parameters required.

POST disconnect

Disconnect Dropbox: revokes access at Dropbox and deletes the stored tokens. Files imported earlier stay in private storage.

No input parameters required.

POST search-files

Find files by name in the connected Dropbox account, for a file the owner named. Returns {files:[{ref, name, size, modified, path}], has_more}. Pass a ref to gated-files import-external (provider "dropbox"). Only import files the owner asked for. Paid plans.

GET chooser-config

Settings for the Dropbox Chooser in the dashboard: the public app key and script URL, and whether Dropbox is connected. A chosen file's "id" is the ref for gated-files import-external.
