How we price it

Per message, not per gigabyte

Most archives charge for storage. We measured our own, and storage turns out to be the cheap part. What is actually scarce is memory on the search cluster — and that scales with the number of messages, not their size.

Storage
Cents per month

Even a 200,000-message archive is a rounding error on a storage bill.

Search index
The real limit

Every message takes up memory so it stays instantly searchable. That is what you are paying for.

Why that is fairer

An archive of 5,000 messages with heavy attachments uses more disk than 50,000 plain newsletters, but far less of what is actually scarce. Charging by gigabyte would bill you for the wrong thing.

Good to know

Before you pick a tier

What happens when I hit the limit?

You get a warning at 80%. At 100% we stop archiving new mail until you move up a tier. Nothing already archived is ever deleted to make room — that would be the opposite of what you bought.

Does a mailbox have to be hosted by you?

No. Any IMAP mailbox works: Gmail, Outlook, your own server. You can archive a Gmail account without hosting anything with us.

Does it count per person or per account?

Per subscription. If you have a team, everything archived under that subscription counts toward the same tier — the same way projects work today.

Can I move up or down later?

Yes, at any time. Moving up takes effect immediately. Moving down works as long as your archive fits within the smaller tier.

What if I stop?

You can empty the archive yourself, in one action, and we log it so you can show it was done. Removal covers the search index, the records, the attachments and the stored originals. How removal works

How long does the first sync take?

Hours for a large mailbox, and it runs in the background. Everything already synced is searchable straight away; you do not have to wait for the whole thing to finish.

Not sure which tier?

Tell us how big the mailbox is and how far back you want to go. We will tell you which one fits, and set it up with you.
